Say Hello to My #SMIR Campaign

Genius, it’s been said, is 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration. Well, I want to help make some people sweat a little less.

Writing an update for Facebook or Twitter can sometimes seem impossible. Avoiding politics, religion and anything remotely controversial, it’s mainly leaving writing about the weather and events. So I thought I might help a bit. Over the next several months at 9 a.m. Eastern, I’ll post my #SMIR Campaign idea. #SMIR stands for the “Social Media Inspiration Reminder.” It’s an idea to write about in two or three days hence.

For example, on June 15, you will read about [wiki]Autistic Pride Day[/wiki] for June 18. On June 16, I’ll also note that June 18 is International Sushi Day.

Posts may not come every day, but you will see them and often.

I hope you enjoy the #SMIR campaign and find it helpful
